2019 Administrative Team

Jake Lyons | Executive Director

 Jake is starting his fifth year on staff with the organziation and has been heavily involved in WGI since 2009, performing in several independent world class ensembles including: Palmetto Percussion, Odyssey Percussion Theatre, Terminus Atlanta Percussion, and Music City Mystique. He also was a member of the Bluecoats Drum and Bugle Corps in 2012 & 2013, and was on the percussion staff for Spirit of Atlanta in 2015. Currently, Jake is also the Front Ensemble Coordinator at the Colts Drum & Bugle Corps.  Jake is an alumnus of the University of Georgia and and currently resides in Nashville, TN where he works full time as a non-profit Development Consultant. Currently working with dozens of large non-profit organizations across the country, Jake brings expertise to Equinox in the areas of development, volunteer management, and fundraising.

Chris Parker | Associate Director

Trey Brunn | Director of Operations, Visual Caption Head

 Chris Parker started his marching career in 2009, performing in notable groups such as Odysseey Percussion Theatre, Spirit of Atlanta, Phantom Regiment, and Music City Mystique. Afterwards, he started teaching at Music City Drum Corps, Spirit of Atlanta, and Palmetto as a front ensemble technician. Chris is starting his third year on staff with the organization. He also designs, writes, and teaches for high schools all over the southeast.  Chris Parker graduated with a mechanical engineering degree from Tennessee Technological University and now resides in Sandy Springs, GA. He is currently a plan review consultant for FM Global, an engineering insurance company, and from it, will bring expertise in the fields of production, procurement, and relations

Ernad Sisic | Operations & Marketing Manager

 Ernad Sisic is currently in his first year at Gwinnett Technical College pursuing a Marketing Management Degree with a concentration in Entrepreneurship. Ernad is also the Production Designer for the Discovery High School Band in Lawrenceville, GA where he oversees the overall show design, visual design, and music design for the group. Ernad was a member of the front ensemble at Equinox in 2017 and 2018.  When Ernad is not arranging music, he is consulting for a local school based enterprise in Lawrenceville operating under the name Discovery Design. Ernad created Discovery Design in July of 2016 and served as the General Manager/Enterprise Coordinator for the business until August of 2018. Ernad stepped down from the position to focus on his education and to further expand his knowledge working in the field. He consults with Discovery Design frequently and does not plan to stop any time soon.  With his expertise in opening and running a business, he knows what it takes to start a small company and expand on it’s values. Ernad has recently started working with Marching Health as business manager. Being business manager, Ernad keeps the business active and runs the “behind the scenes” tasks needed to keep the organization on the rise.  He is excited to join the Equinox staff for the 2019 season.

 Trey, a Georgia native, was introduced to the performing arts while attending Northgate High School in Newnan, Georgia. Continuing his performance career through college, he marched with the Spirit of Atlanta Drum & Bugle Corps for six years, serving as drum major during his age-out season in 2011.  This will be Trey’s third year on staff with Equinox Percussion, serving as Director of Operations and continuing his role as Visual Coordinator. He looks forward to helping provide a top class educational experience and environment for everyone involved with Equinox Percussion.  Trey received his Bachelor’s Degree from Kennesaw State University, where he studied Political Science with a concentration in Legal Studies. KC Stanley | Media Coordinator

 KC resides in her hometown of Lawrenceville, GA where she works with the North Gwinnett HS cymbal line. She has also worked with other groups in Georgia such as Baldwin HS, South Forsyth HS, Lakeside HS, and North Hall HS.    She began her professional cymbal career in 2015 with Q2 Indoor and ALLIANCE Drum and Bugle Corps (DCA) ‘15 and ‘16, but has played cymbals for a total of 9 years. She performed with Equinox in their inaugural year 2017, aged out of drum corps with the Oregon Crusaders ‘17, and returned to Equinox for her WGI age out in 2018.    In her free time she enjoys running, hiking, going to Disney World, and taking pictures of others. Commenting on her first year on social media for an independent group, “These are friends you’ll have for a lifetime, but you’re making memories that happen in a blink of an eye. I’m here because I want to help everyone capture this amazing time in their lives!”    KC is excited to join the 2019 Equinox staff as social media coordinator.
